THICK
Cutting their teeth in the Brooklyn DIY scene, THICK has solidified itself as a punk powerhouse. Despite playing in fewer basements now, the band maintains the vibrant sense of community that sparked its formation, inviting friends-to-be into their world through honest and introspective lyrics. Release after release, THICK fearlessly presents its members’ most intimate thoughts, experiences, and self-explorations in layered melodies and big hooks.
Following up on two LPs and an EP on Epitaph Records, THICK is gearing up to find a new home for their latest LP, featuring new perspectives and an altered lineup.
The new album develops their trademark rawness and appetite for evolution. Building upon previous works produced by Will Yip and Joel Hamilton, this LP gives a voice to the various parts of themselves that had been stifled or denied, bringing these shadows into the light.
